A child bedroom is a very fun project to be part of.
We had a lot of fun designing the grandchild’s bedroom within this beautiful period house.
The brief consisted of creating a soft ambience with classic country qualities, that would in turn, continue to flow throughout the house. We used this lovely mock patchwork fabric and teamed it with some coordinating checks and stripes. The distribution of the various fabrics across the bean bags and bunting create a playful feel, but without being too garnish. We avoided using more obvious, bold primary colours to maintain a harmonious room.
The bed was tailor made to best fit the child’s needs, supplying security and comfort for a good nights sleep.
