Our upholstery is hand crafted using many traditional methods.
We upholster anything from dining room chairs, loose chair pads, piano stools, headboard’s, screens, sofas, lounge chairs, chaise and recliners.
Any piece of furniture can be covered in any fabric of your choice and upholstered and finished in a style that you decide.
We offer four upholstery services;
Re cover
* We recover clients existing furniture which has a sound upholstery base and only a new cover is required. The finish can be altered, for example a sofa may have had a fringe at the base and you may prefer a valance or a large piped edge. You may like contrast piped cushions or a change of fillings feather, foam, foam inner core with a soft Dacron wrap.
Rebuild
* We offer a compete rebuild service, taking everything back to the frame, checking that the frame is secure replace or re- lash the springs and then rebuild the many layers of fillings, then finally the top cover.
Loose covers
*We also make loose covers tailor-made to your individual sofa or chair. In order that the covers fit perfectly we collect your furniture then deliver it back with its brand new cover.
All the fabrics we use for loose covers are washable at 40 c and are extremely durable, ideally suite for clients with young children, dogs and cats, where maybe little accidents can easily be remedied by a quick wash in the washing machine.

All of our frames are made from carefully selected hard woods with joints glued, screwed and dowelled for maximum strength.
All frames are lined out with webbing and hessian to give additional protection to your carefully selected face fabric.
Arms and backs are contoured from layers of traditional upholstery materials (hair, felt, fibres etc) to give a smooth durable finish.
By combining various coil spring tensions in the majority of our seats, optimum comfort and support is achieved.Our coil sprung seats are traditionally finished with hair stuffed, hand stitched front edges to help prevent the front edge sagging and collapsing.Either flat springs or coil springs are used in the backs of our models for lasting posture support.
All fabrics are pattern matched and hand cut for that impeccable tailored look. A choice of duck feather and down, hollofibre, foams, prinkled feather cushions, amongst many others are offered to help you achieve the support and comfort level that is right for you.
Cushions are zipped, overlocked and pattern matched both sides for ease of cleaning and maximum wear.Each piece is traditionally upholstered by a skilled craftsman and inspected at six stages during manufacture to ensure you receive the highest quality finish possible.
To ensure that your upholstery arrives in perfect condition, the majority of our deliveries are carried out on our own transport.
